Soloxan-RD Injection is a combination of two medicines Ifomaside and Mesna. It is used to treat various cancers such as testicular cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, cancer of the ovaries (cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed), cancer of the cervix, and cancer that forms in muscles and bones. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Mesna present in Soloxan-RD Injection reduces the risk of inflammation and bleeding of the bladder which is a very serious side effect of treatment with Ifosfamide. Drink at least 1-2 litres of water every 24 hours during the treatment process to stay hydrated.

How Soloxan-RD Injection works
Soloxan-RD Injection is a combination of two medicines: Mesna and Ifosfamide. Mesna is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication. Ifosfamide is a cytoprotective medicine which is added to reduce the risk of bleeding and swelling in the bladder caused by Mesna.
